About brand
Serena founded Melitarose in 2014 whilst on maternity leave. Wanting to use this time to relax, enjoy the experience and channel her entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own brand and create footsteps towards her future.
The name comes from a culmination of her grandmother’s name ‘Melita’ and her mother’s name ‘Rose’, both of whom are important and influential figures within her life. A brand made of simplicity and nostalgia, the idea was based on Rose’s love of candles and Melita’s hours spent working on her beautiful rose garden.
Melita sadly passed away in November 2014 suffering a long battle with dementia but the essence of her commitment to hard work, strong family values and love will always be imprinted within her family and every Melitarose candle.

Goods are securely packaged and usually despatched the same working day if the order is placed before 11am.
Items are sent via courier on orders above a weight of 1kg and should arrive within 3 working days of order confirmation, but could take up to 7 days.
In the checkout there is an option to write any special instructions that might aid your parcel delivery.
